Exploring Colour Mixing

The children have been learning about how to mix colours together to create secondary and tertiary colours and how to create tints and shades using black and white combined with primary colours. They have also been learning about washing brushes and using a palette to experiment with mixing up their own colours.

This week, the children have been invited to continue exploring colour mixing, without the paint swatches. Today some of the children mixed colours to paint rainbows after viewing the rainbow in the sky during the morning.
